Delete your account and data

How to delete your Versiclo account and the data linked to it, with or without the app. Reading the Bible in the app doesn't require an account: if you never created one, we don't keep any of your data.

In the app (immediately)

Open Versiclo, sign in and tap Settings → Delete account → confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Without the app

Send an email to [email protected] from the address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete Versiclo account". We reply to the same address to confirm the request is yours and complete the deletion within 15 days, letting you know when it's done.

What is deleted

• Account: name, email and password.
• Likes and favorites.
• Comments, reports and blocks.
• Usage history of AI explanations, including the free ones.
• Partner invite code, if you used one.
• Your record at RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions.

Public verse counters (likes and comments) are adjusted.

What is kept

• AI-generated verse explanations: they contain none of your data and remain available to everyone.
• Payment records (amount, date, store and an internal identifier, without name or email), for the period required by tax law, up to 5 years.
• Purchase data kept by Apple or Google, under their own policies.
• Automatic server backups, deleted within 30 days.

Premium subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: billing is handled by the App Store or Google Play. Cancel first in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Deleting only some data

Without deleting your account, you can remove likes and favorites and delete your comments in the app. To delete other data, write to [email protected].
